Egg Mayonnaise Recipe


Egg Mayonnaise Recipe is a simple recipe to create an egg mayonnaise by hand. From this basic recipe, you can go to the fancier stuff easy. Make your sandwiches and salads more special by making your own mayo. This egg mayonnaise recipe is so easy and simple to follow that anyone can do it.

Egg Yolk Separator - If you haven't done separating yolks before, you can use an egg yolk separator. This is optional.

Ingredients
2 egg yolks
340 ml vegetable or olive oil


Zoe Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1-Liter Tins (Pack of 2)Carapelli Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 44-Ounce Plastic Bottles (Pack of 2)Italica Extra Virgin Olive Oil Enriched with Omega 3, 17-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2)


1 tbsp lemon juice or white wine vinegar
Heinz Distilled White Vinegar 16 ozSpectrum Organic Distilled White Vinegar ( 12x32 OZ)


1 - 2 tsp Dijon mustard

Steps
1. Whisks the egg yolks in a large mixing bowl.
2. Add a pinch of salt.
3. Slowly add a drop of oil to the mixture while whisking continuously until the eggs and the oil thickens and are blended together.
4. Keep adding oil and whisking until you get to half of the oil.
5. Add the vinegar or lemon juice into the mix and continue whisking.
6. Add the rest of the oil and continue to whisk.
7. Add the mustard.
8. Season with salt and pepper. Your egg mayonnaise is now ready to enjoy.
9. Put in a sterilized airtight jar and chill in the refrigerator.
